  • 1 tbsp – Cumin
  • 4-5 – Dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp – oil or ghee
  • 1 teaspoon – Cumin
  • 2 – Large onions, finely chopped
  • 2 – Large tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 – Green capsicum
  • 2-3 Green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tbsp – Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon – Red chili powder
  • Kasoori Meth
  • 1 teaspoon – Garam masala
  • salt to tast

How To Make Kadai Paneer :

1.   Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces until they turn golden brown. When all the pieces of paneer become golden, take them out and keep them aside.

Prepare Tomato Onion Gravy:

2. Grind tomato, onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli in a blender and make a smooth paste.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add the paste and cook until the mixture thickens and the oil separates.

Add capsicum and cheese:

4. Add chopped capsicum and fried cheese to the gravy.
5. Mix well and fry for a few minutes.

6. When capsicum or cheese melts little by little, add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, kadhai masala and salt. mix well.

7. Cook the mixture on low to medium heat, stirring occasionally until the spices blend well, and the oil separates.
